About

Matt Barrow and the All Nighters is the brainchild of Matt Barrow (The Nines), John Schreffler, Jr., (Shooter Jennings, Broken Bravado, 29 Mules), and Xavier Gonzales (29 Mules).

In search of a creative outlet after The Nines disbanded, Matt began to woodshed new material at the Monday Night Music Club, an all-star weekly jam hosted by 29 Mules in the San Fernando Valley. It was here that Matt met Xavier, who suggested they record the collection of songs. The trio met at Xavier’s own Cactus Ranch Studios, and with John at the helm as engineer, they set out to create what would become “Welcome to California”, a late-night blend of country, blues, and straight-ahead rock n roll that tips its hat to the past… while planting both feet firmly in the now.

This debut effort also features the wonderful talents of Tom Fillman on drums, Casey Cannon on mandolin, Aubrey Richmond on fiddle, and Dave Bernal on harmonica, with Jennifer Gibbons and Brian Spence on backing vocals.

Matt Barrow and All Nighters can be seen and heard predominately around the L.A. area at this time.
